I caught the last 30 minutes of the Finland v Iceland game; I am not going to compare the quality to the Men's game - that is utterly irrelevant for multiple reasons.

However, the game showed that the quality gap between those at top of the Women's game and those who are still good enough to get to the Finals of the Euro's, is vast.

England's group is pretty tough, but I fear for Wales who are in the same group.

Agree with the point about the vast distance between some of the teams - avoided the Spain v Portugal game last night on that basis. Tbf, not often I'm proved right quite so specacularly.

Norway v Switzerland was enjoyable - gutted that the Swiss didn't win, and massively infuriated by Norway. To have a forward line of Hegerberg, Graham-Hansen and Reiten, and put in that level of performance is criminal. Add in that the font on the back of their kit was utterly unreadable made me even more actively grumpy.

Wales will, I think, have their tummies tickled during the tournament, but probably not by England, which will be a shame in one respect due to all the ex-Reading players involved (Charlie Estcourt would be the only player involved who played in the WSL2 with us the first time round).
