frimmers3 Injured? Loss of form? The question still stands: "could".......But hey, this is no place for speculation.

Why single out Brazil then?

Why not Argentina?

Why not every team that has 11 or more players based outside their home country.

What point was it you were going for?

Agreed, they have fairly strong views on politicising the game.

Are the Italians actually that good this time round? I'd expect them to be favourites against us but they don't strike me as anything special.

Argentina team in political demo  ,
Fifa should kick them out!
Even if it were embazoned across their shirts - Blatter would only tell them they were naughty boys!

Q. heard 2 Brazilians in the past week talk through their team while giving a preview of the WC. Why do they pronounce Fernandinho's name as 'Fernangino'?

Group B is looking more and more fascinating as the World Cup approaches, certainly as an alternative to the England discussions.

Spain
Holland
Chile
Australia

Chile's shit-or-bust attitude is going to force some issues here I reckon. If they manage to get through the group it's obviously going to mean a big name casualty goes home early.

The Dutch do look well shy of some of their previously better squads. A Holland win over Spain though and the unthinkable is on regarding Spain going out in the group stages, Chile could of course implode but they looked a decent outfit when they turned us over at Wembley. The Aussies are surely only there for the lolz once they'd seen the draw.

Had picked Germany as my choice to win it, but now missing Reus and only have Klose as a genuine out-and-out striker.

Saw bits of Argetina's win against Slovenia at the weekend and they look terrifying. Brilliant move for Messi's goal https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RjfXEobpiyg and they certainly have the fire power up front. Fancy a Brazil v Argentina final.

2 Spanish friends both said that they are going to be pretty much reliant on Pedro having a great world cup otherwise they will not do well. Apparently there is quite a pessimistic feeling in Spain
