Dirk Gently Absolutely not dissing women's football, but one of the biggest differences I've noticed is that women don't seem to be able to clear the ball as effectively and as far as the men do. So that when a team is under pressure and wins possession they often fail to reach the half-way line, and freqently just give the ball back to the attacking team.

It's a sign of the better teams that they are more able to turn defence into attack than the lesser teams.

It's their game, so it's their choice, but a slightly smaller ball and goalposts would sort this out!


And pitches even. But then they don’t do that in football, even seen youngsters playing in full scale pitches with full scale goals.

Under 12’s play on smaller pitch’s, with fewer players and smaller goals……
