Snowflake Royal South Coast Royal Didn't think Bernardo Silva had his best game yesterday.
In fact I thought he was fairly ineffective by his high standards in the back end of last season.
With De Bruyne not doing much for Belgium, Foden the same for England and now Silva for Portugal in these first games it does seem as though City players are better for their clubs than country probably because of having a great manager who can generally bring the best out of his players.
I feel that Portugal and France showed enough without being brilliant to suggest that they are both contenders to win the Euros.
BTW I thought Vitinha was Portugal's best player last night and that they do have a lot of good options from the bench..
I think your sample size is ludicrously small for that suggestion
Been having a discussion, specifically about Foden but could apply to all of the above
For their clubs they play in a particular way and 'know' where their mates will be without having to look.
For country, they have to think about where their mates will be just a little bit more and that split second can make all the difference
