Well I thought the Scotland pen decision was irrelevant as he was offside. No media seems to have even considered that which I find really odd.

Armstrong looked like he might have been offside from the through ball. Maybe they've checked that so no need to then look at overturning the penalty decision.

On Scotland's penalty shout yesterday, has anyone seen a definitive answer on whether Armstrong was onside in the first place? It looked very tight.

The BBC replay after the game has convinced me that, if onside, it was a clear penalty but they didn't address the offside question, which may well have been the reason VAR didn't give it.

What an absolutely crap game of football that was last night; seriously, it was like watching some of Stam's 2nd season with us - lots of passing the ball between the back four, but with zero cutting edge.

Whilst Scotland's deficiencies are well known, I expected more of Hungary who stormed their qualifying group, but have been generally poor in the Group stages; I doubt that they will progress through to the knock out stages (as per the discussions about teams in Groups E & F having an advantage of knowing what they have to do to qualify).

Didn't watch the Scotland game, watched Germany v Switzerland, as the more interesting option. Pretty even match I'd say and Germany definitely beatable by whoever gets to play them next.
