YateleyRoyal The likes of Aaron Ramsey not celebrating against Cardiff is ok in my book, but Danny Graham is LOLaughable.

the cardiff fans celebrating Ramsey scoring against them was one of the most sickening scenes I've ever witnessed in football, alongside stalls selling scarves with both teams on

Not celebrating is as bad as pointing to the heavens as if a goal was God's work or in Lampard's case his mum's.
Just as annoying is players crossing themselves and touching the grass when they come onto the pitch.

Don't know why they give him so much shit. He departure paid for the redevelopment of their main stand. The Frank Lampard Stand.

The same Cardiff fans who applauded Ramsey only booed him a few years back when they met in the FA Cup! Didn't Scott Sinclair not celebrate a goal against Chelsea for Swansea despite making a grand total of 5 appearances for the club in a 4 year spell :|

How do you know they were the same fans?

Maybe the ones who "celebrated" it where doing so to show their appreciation after the previous game made Ramsey feel like their fans didn't.

Yes just where did that nobby idea come from, can understand it perhaps if a non league side like Bracknell Town got Liverpool or someone like that in the FA Cup but not for any professional league team.

No Fixed Abode I found a chocolate biscuit down the back of the sofa. I didn't celebrate as it was my old Club.

If you're going to quote a Milton Jones joke, at least give him credit for it.

I believe, as a West Ham fan once told me. it is because he has never once given West Ham credit for starting his career publicly, that he always says how much he loves Chelsea and how close to his heart Chelsea is but never mentions West Ham as a place that he hold dear.

It's actually one of the highlights of the football season for me.

West ham fans give him shit, he inevitably scores and unashamedly celebrates. West ham fans froth even more at the mouth.

Lets be honest, it's not as if they didn't get on his back for a large part of his time at Upton Park anyway.

When he started out at West Ham, there was a popular belief that Frank Lampard was only in the team through nepotism, because of his Father who was a coach at the time, and his Uncle - Harry Redknapp - who was the Manager when he broke into the first team.

He owes the Neanderthals at the Boleyn precisely NOTHING, and the all seem to forget the perilous financial position West Ham were in at the time of his sale (and that of Glen Johnson and Joe Cole a little later) that helped them survive. Good on him for rubbing their noses in it every time he scores against them!

I seem to recall the East Stand applauding Lita, when he scored against us. Thought it was odd then.

Depends on the circumstances I guess. If a player has a lot of respect for the club and had a good relationship with the fans its ok in my opinion.

I wouldn't expect someone like Long to celebrate against us for example.

It has become a bit silly now when some players will play for a number of clubs over their career.

I enjoyed seeing Tabb celebrate against us. I felt he was treated a bit unfairly here last season and you could tell that goal meant a lot to him. He was still received well after it to.

On the flip side... I don't think we've had an Adabeyor esque celebration against us from a previous player recently?

I would lose a little bit of respect for a former player if he came back and didn't celebrate when he scored. he plays for someone else now, I would hope he would be giving it his all and enjoying his new football father than trying to brown nose a load of middle class jester hat wearing mongs
