They really wouldn't want you there. You'll probably be on a made up trip to Amsterdam anyway.

Oh look, Kes and The inforpcunt are white knighting each other again.

Enjoy betting on Thatcham in the final you little virgin.

 the snow is certainly making somebody ratty this morning.

Great crowd and day at Bracknell Saturday. Disappointed with the result and performance to be honest. Don't understand not starting Adam Cornell up front with TJ in a game like this. Play to your strengths.
Now need to go on the mother of all winning streaks to reign in Highmoor and Thatcham. And it can be done..

Yep, they received an email this morning telling them they had been sacked.

Terrific bloke to work for this Steinborn-Busse by the sounds of it.

His money, so he can do as he pleases of course but it does make you wonder about the long-term prospects when he seems so desperate to achieve short-term success.

Cannot believe he has sacked them. Can only think he has a big name waiting in the wings.

What a daft move by Bracknell, or Steinborn-Busse at least.

What was it that Old Man Andrew told us a few weeks ago? The Chairman is realistic and there was no pressure to succeed...

It's a shame for the managers and a shame for the club, but from what I've seen of the Chairman it can hardly be that much of a shock.

He could have sacked them for a multitude of reasons. Wait for the facts.

True, it'll just be a coincidence that they lost a big game at the weekend, much like when Tallentire got the boot after losing the last big gam against Thatcham.

I know players and managers follow the money pretty religiously at that level but if Steinborn-Busse keeps doing that he'll struggle to keep players and managers when the times are good and they'll know that the loyalty isn't returned.

If he has sacked them off the back of that one game then it is insane. Marske are just a better squad of players, it had nothing to do with tactics really.

I think it was you who said Tallentire was sacked after a huge row over team selection at the end of last season.

Maybe the Chairman didn’t approve of the team they put out on Saturday!

I would put that at the top of my list of reasons yes. Tallentire really blew that last game of the season so I understood it more. This game Bracknell were just outclassed by a better side. Can only think the chairman wanted a certain line up and the management went against him (as they should too)

Still, at least there's no unrealistic pressure to succeed...

They should have gone up last season and the Chairman was right to expect a win on the last game of the season.

In the FA Vase they arguably exceded any exprectations by reaching the Quarter Finals and therefore it would be wrong to sack the management off the back of the defeat.

Not sure what your point is? The facts aren't in the open yet so it is pure speculation he has sacked them because he wants quick success. I've personally been in his presence where he has suggested the opposite as have others at the club. Could have been lying or had a change of heart, who knows? We will see when the statement is released I guess.

Why should they have gone up last season ahead of an excellent Thame side?

I'd love to hear how Tallentire blew promotion. You seem to know a lot about it and how badly he got it wrong. Perhaps you should put your name in the hat now the jobs available again?

Because they should have beaten a very average side on the last day of the season. Had they have won that game they would have been promoted. Not hard to work out really is it?

I do know a lot about the club, evidently a bit more than you. Pipe down.

They didn't turn up last game of the season. They bottled it. That's why it was so disappointing all round. Although, the way Thame were smashing them in at Henley they would of had to win big anyway. It was the same day Reading were getting smashed at Norwich. People were shouting out " It's 7 now" and I was like " Which game?!!"
I know the Chairman pretty well and he is a very single minded man. Gets stuff done though but it's true to say not always how other people like.
Personally, I am staggered at this sacking. As I said, I was surprised Cornell wasn't in the starting 11 and maybe Kane thought the same. Can't believe that is the reason for sacking them though. We wait for the statement!!

Sorry, but I watched both Bracknell and Thame a few times last season and Thame were anything but very average for that league.

You may know lots about the club, but you seem to chop and change your view quite a bit (from the pressure and ambitions, to the size of the ground just the other day) so I just find it a little hard to keep up with what you think about it at times, considering how much you know.

I haven't changed my view on anything. I have been at meetings at the club where the Chairman has said it is a long term project. What would you like me to do? Stand up and call him a liar? I will do that at the AGM don't worry. If the most recent sacking is down to the Quarter Final defeat alone then I will be revising my opinion.

Who said Thame were an average side? Bracknell didn't play them on the last day of the season. Bracknell had to get a decent sized win on the last day and they would have won the league. Thame did their bit by smashing Henley (I think) and Bracknell lost at home to Highworth who were then very average.

Not sure what you aren't understanding. It is all fairly straightforward stuff.

*edit thats not me trying to be rude I just think you must have your wires crossed somewhere.

Some suggestions on Twitter that Tallentire might be set for a return!

I've also read that although the managers say they were been sacked via email this morning Anthony Smith (of the Chronicle) knew about it yesterday

Would really like Rodger Herridge to get it in what would be the ultimate non-league swerve.
