Strange parallel between Palace and Bournemouth so far, both with the exact same fixture list so far with results not being too far off

Both beaten Villa (H), conceded four to City (A), lost by a few to Arsenal (H) with close games at Anfi…oh

Watford have done similar too, signing Hassane Kamara for £4m in January, selling him to Udinese for £16m last week, and then immediately loaning him back. It's a loophole that FIFA surely need to close. Daily Mail says that there have been '60 transactions' between Watford and Udinese since they were bought by the Pozzo family.

Absolutely bizarre. Within that run they've put four past Huddersfield in the League Cup, and then lost to Wolves in the following round, so there's goals to be had as a Preston fan. Just not in the league!

At HT in the 5th game of the season Haaland is already 28% of the way to equaling the most goals ever scored in a 38 game PL season, and it's still August.

Don’t think there’s a more dislikeable manager around than Conte

Has spent the last few games going on about how he won’t discuss refereeing decisions and VAR yet rambles on about it tonight after it came to the correct decision (I’m sure he was OK when the system allowed his own player to throw someone to the floor by their hair)

And then to say his side deserved to win which simply wasn’t true, no matter how you try and sugarcoat it

Normally ignore managers’ comments before/after games as it’s full of rehearsed cliches but he talks utter nonsense and seems a thoroughly unpleasant bloke. 11 points from 5 games is a decent points haul but I don’t think they’ve looked good at all so far this season. As Mourinho found out at Spurs, relying on a solid defence and two/three strikers on the counter each game isn’t very sustainable

I can think of one. Has Conte thrown the physio under the bus or blamed the local ambulance service for his own medical team not making a quick clinical decision?

Conte's just doing what Ferguson and Wenger used to do all the time. At least he's not convinced himself of his own infallibility.

Yeah, he's a little silly, isn't he. A second hat-trick in just his 5th game in the Premier League, which beats Demba Ba's record of 21 games to achieve that milestone. Haaland has more goals so far this season than 15 of the other 19 clubs in the Premier League. He's only completed 90 minutes once, as well.
