I watched the Palace game with intense interest and was cheering them on the entire way through. I was really nervous throughout the entire game, besides being a neutral (although - unsure if that's true as I really hated the idea of Man City winning).

Everytime I watch Man City, my love of the game dies a bit. It's soul destroying to see a manufactured, inauthentic club and team passing endlessly.

Pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, attempt a cross and shot - blocked, pass pass pass pass.

It's incredibly dull and boring. They're a god awful club and team. Their fans are appalling and during the montage on the BBC - you know when they do those dramatic videos and poems outsid the ground, mixed in with fan comments, one City fan said "Surely, we have to win something this year?!" as if it's their divine right.

Was so happy to see Palace win.

.......

On a separate note, I am sick of hearing about Trent now, and also sick of hearing about Liverpool fans reaction to him. The whole thing is weird and stupidly overblown. The guy wants to leave, more money and better opportunity, so what? Move on and just let him go.

Trent looking sulky after the Brighton game last night. Slot took him to the game as a sub and then brought Endo on at right-back. :o

Trent is a good player, of course, but he really is not Real Madrid standard. Not sure he deserves ( or even gets? ) a regular place in the England team, either. Liverpool will replace him easily enough.

OTOH he is the nephew of former Reading around the end of the 70’s superstar John Alexander, so I ‘ll wish him well.

Already have! Pingpong is quite an upgrade too!

TAA could be homesick very quickly. RM fans and the Spanish media will lay into him at his first perceived cock up. It won’t be easy for him at all. So the lad will have to have real guts to get through it.

Wonder how often he has a reunion with his mates from 45 years ago?

Fulham are a very nice last day opponent for City, even at Craven Cottage. I think Forest get the win they need. Newcastle win too. United show a couple of signs of life and get a draw at home to Villa, which gives Forest the final CL place.

City 71
Newcastle 69
Forest 68
Villa 67
Chelsea 66

Ollie Kearns is 1st top row isn't he?

Don't think Steve Wood is in there. Neither is Ken Price, he came later.

Can't help wondering if the engraver let out a small, 'oh, fcuk' as he started the 'F' of F.C. and realised that isn't convention.

The Forest owner has reportedly banned Gary Neville from the City Ground on Sunday, so he is unable to commentate on the game

Its terrible childish behaviour from Forest. But lol still.

Won’t be missed, thought Neville would still be blubbing at United’s superb season anyway.

A Shef Utd win today would take the number of PL clubs owned by Americans up to 12, just 2 short of the number needed to change anything about the stricture of the league that they want.
