Sanguine Marc Guehi to Liverpool confirmed, for £35m, with a 10% sell on clause - subject to a medical. One hell of a transfer window for the club.

What's the attacking lineup for the first XI now that Isak and Efitike (sp?) have arrived

Winston Biscuit 5th club in 6 seasons for Sancho, with Man Utd apparently paying a chunk of his wages again this time.

his contract was up next summer but its being reported that Man Utd are activating their right to extend it by another year. Makes sense I guess. hope he does well this season and get some money back for him next summer

Furqdat, just get rid of him. If we extend his contract, we end up paying his wages so another club can use him

Villa paying 80% of wages from what I heard.

Incidentally, how does it work? Do borrowing clubs just stick a loanee on their payroll or does the parent club just carry on normal payments and the borrowing club just pay the parent club each month?

Has to be Isak up top and centre - Slot can either switch to two up front and play them both as a pair or, I think more likely, Gakpo drops the bench and Ekitike plays on the left.

Not sure anyone beyond Slot has worked it out yet! Bear in mind that although Isak is world class quality he is also world class at developing injuries so suspect Liverpool have factored in that his availability may not be all that - and certainly having had no proper pre-season he's likely to be used sparingingly at first, coming on to replace Ekitike in the main. Still he'll help give vital cover when Salah buggers off to the ANC in January

also, does the loan deal, and therefore Villa's wage contribution, run until 30th June which is when all contracts start and end in football as its considered the actual end of the season, or being a loan deal are they able to specify an earlier date that ties in with the last game? I assume the latter as we occasionally hear of players in the Football League having complications around playing in the play offs as their loan was up after the last league game

would be more than £1M saving for Villa if they stop it the day after the last league game

At the moment effectively super Dom who, people may have noticed, has done rather well playing elsewhere.

By the way, I have never felt it to be right that Prem clubs and top European League clubs are allowed to loan players to each other but if they do then the player should play against the parent club if the other club wants to do it.

Who's done best in the transfer window?

Think a number of teams have spent a lot of money to move sideways, and some, such as Newcastle, have gone backwards!

What`s the price for Liverpool going the whole season unbeaten? it`s not even a competition anymore, it`s just about the club that has the most money.

Buying good players doesn't mean they are the right players!

Utd won three titles on the bounce and then added van Nistelrooy and Veron...came third!
