Schards#2 Did QPR sell all home tickets as I'd be surprised if the 3,000 unsold were all Upper tier away end + front 10 rows of lower tier.

No, there were just under a 1000 unsold match day tickets, some aren't prepared to pay the 80% increase in match day tickets, the booing was aimed at Briatore as he was slaughtered all game, the team received constant encouragement and singing remained constant, but Flavio was the brunt of some loud vitriol, and any negativity was aimed at the ownership, and rightly so, but i guess when you're about to sell, you're not going to dip into your profits, when the next man in charge can buy, even DJ was financed by Fernandes.

Keepers can fukk off in my book - they can go in at head height with their knees just to catch the ball with their hands - anyone else doing the same gets a double red card. if they want to play football then they should do it with their feet. less protection and more goals please

Even during its formative years, football was rife with cheating.

*No pedo* but I must go and watch some Sunday league boys football at some point. Interested whether this has developed at the grass roots too, or if not, where do players 'learn' to throw themselves around at the slightest touch, or fall into tackles?

I remember being on the end of some hefty challenges when I was playing regularly, years ago, but you just take the contact, even when you can see it coming, its part and parcel of the game. I assume Hob Nob FC regulars on here will agree. The tackle comes in, its late, it hurts, you're knocked over, and get the foul. The exaggerated hip movement when players go down these days (Torres yesterday, Suarez for his penalty on Saturday) would be hilarious if it wasn't so transparent.

To be honest, you sometimes get the free kick for the intent - so if no contact is made but you lose the ball from your evasive action, it's the same as if there'd been contact. But yeah, you have to ride the challenges.

Contrary to popular opinion, my boys don't go down willy nilly.

I was a weedy little wuss and even I rode challenges, tried to stay on my feet and got straight back up if I went down.

Come and watch us and you'll more than likely see a couple of fights, a weight lifter body checking everyone on the pitch and some hoof ball from our defence and some shocking "finishing" from our strikers........

Swansea look like they might struggle this season unless they sign someone in midfield who can break up the play.

Aguero looks a player, if Tevez stays and performs that would be quite a combo.

Gary Neville + a chair and his mate Jamie = works alright, he clearly knows a lot about the game.

Gary Neville + a pointy mouse thing + a touch screen = hilarity.
