Silver Fox Credit where it's due, they were awesome tonight

Also, to stop that compliment sticking in my throat too much I did enjoy seeing the green and gold campaign apparently replaced with some sort of red champions scarf campaign

Free scarves were given out prior to game m8.

Well frimmers is still partially right, they haven't turned up for a minute of Premier League football this season.

despite not having played a second of premier league football so far, Carrick has scored the same amount of goals as Spurs.

Not the same sort of player I know but I am extraordinarily pleased that Wellbeck >>>>> Andy Carroll.

The thought of that neanderthal representing England for the next decade (as many commentators were predicting) filled me with despair and Wellbeck's sudden advance makes that proposition less likely.

That's a shame because if you're correct in the first part of your analysis Carroll is far more representative.

Representative of what?

Daniel Nii Tackie Mensah Welbeck was born in Manchester and has represented England at every level from U16 upwards.

Our broken society. I have no problems with Mr W's skin tone.

You suggested that Carroll is a neanderthal. I (while looking fey and dropping my silk hankerchief) suggested that he would therefore be an excellent representative of English football. Fell a bit flat.

I think at 21 or 22, and with the majority of his career ahead of him, its a bit early to be branding Carroll 'a neanderthal'.

Ah good. I thought that might be the case but didn't feel it appropriate to say what I hoped you meant!

I don't know why but just looking at him offends me. Bull-necked, pony-tailed thug. Ah yes, that's why.

You'd be the same if Liverpool hadn't signed him!! :D

Just thought you'd like to know as you've all taken the pizz out of other clubs for handing out free stuff. Only when Reading do it, it's a piece of card that says 'Bring it on' or there were those plastic sheets.
