Levy at it again

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is set to veto Lewis Holtby's move to Schalke - because he doesn't want to help Arsenal land Julian Draxler by providing the Germans with the midfielder's replacement.

What a knob

I can see his point. If he hadn't flogged Bale to Real Madrid then Arsenal may not have got Ozil and be top of the league.

But him doing this wont exactly stop Arsenal getting Draxler, it just means Schalke will look elsewhere for a replacement

Don't see what the big deal is. It's ultimately no different to Spurs not wanting to sell a player to Arsenal, or United to Liverpool.

Yes, Schalke can look elsewhere, but giving them on a plate an excuse to sell Draxler would be madness.

But if they can't find a suitable one in two weeks they might as well wait until the summer.

I'm being a bit tongue in cheek of course but if you thought an action was going to aid your arch enemies you'd think very carefully before doing it.

In all seriousness knowing Levy it's probably just his way of trying to screw an extra half million out of Schalke.

He has a buy-out clause though - so it won't matter if Spurs sold Holtby or not if Arsenal were to meet that

Anyway, looks as if Draxler is out until March so the deal may not happen anyway.

Back to supporting Spurs after their mini revival I see. Aldershot put on the back burner until another Spurs slump.

Credit where its due for me Frimbles. You were going nowhere under A.V.B. Any team that loses by 5 at home to us has problems. But T.S. has turned things around. Could be an epic battle between my team, you lot and Everton for 4th place.
