Laid Leeds tonight at 1.9. With the exception of Delph, they have very little in the creativity department and I think they'll struggle for the win.

I am the kitchen sink all over Poland tonight, 6/5 is far too big against a very average Wales side who don't travel well.

Had the poles in a small acca but thats dead already, if I was going for a large bet tonight I'd probably be backing against England. Maybe Spain but more likely the draw. However I'm not betting so I naturally expect the draw to happen.

Not sure what people have got against England tonight, not a hugely bad side, and as high as 4.50 in some places.

I think it's the fact that they are away at the European Champions, without Gerrard, without Rooney, without Walcott.

Great shout Tredds, and when I read this prior to leaving work I planned to get all over it myself, throwing Portugal in as well. Unfortunately, I didn't realise the early kick-off so missed the boat.

The moment the teams were announced that 4.50 went to 6.0, Spain were a great bet and some of the winnings were duly waged.

That was lucky!

Still, good old Creights, calling it off when his former Woodley CC team mate was looking at a losing bet

This weeks value single and only bet on BF is Exeter, cracking home record against a side who just don't travel, Aldershot, odds against is too good to miss, 21/20 with Hills and everyone else is odds on.

Another losing bet averted due to inclement weather, this time my lay of NZ in today's ODI, that's two losers avoided in 15 hours.

Trouble is most of my bank is my tucked up in betfair's coffers awaiting a refund.

I wouldn't bank on it mate. It's run by and contributed to by a bunch of Eastern Europeans and is far from reliable.

Don't worry - I was just joshing. Always pick my own bets. Gut feel > statistics.

Man City, Birmingham, Ipswich, Leicester, Dag & Red £5 acca returns £93.07
