Hypothetical question.

If a player on bail for a serious offence in the UK had a proposed transfer to a club in a country with which the UK does not have an extradition treaty, would the police have the power to block the transfer on the grounds that he was breaking his bail conditions?

Also if the transfer was allowed, would that suggest the player was innocent and provide some justification for a legal block on him being named?
