Yes! Come back when the suggestion is for a 64 team WC finals....
Perhaps they should scrap all other tournaments and just have the WC every 2 years....

Blatter was giving a talk at Oxford Uni this week and someone in the audience asked him who was better Messi or Ronaldo.
Blatter said 'I prefer Messi, Ronaldo has more expenses for the hairdresser' then he attempted to do an impression of Ronaldo

40 teams would be fine. I like seeing as big a variety of teams play at the World Cup as possible.
