'bviously if the winner of one of the cups finishes in top 5 then it rolls over to 6th place

Ah ok, difficult to see them finishing above all of (for example) Spurs, Arsenal, and Villa. Might be a good bet for a cup mind you. They certainly aren't missing Carroll at the moment.

Not neccesarily, that didn't happen when Citeh won the FA cup last year did it?

Half correct:

FA Cup winner already in Europe = FA Cup runner-up into the Europa League

See Stoke City from last season - finished 13th but were runners up in the FA Cup.

IIRC, that "rule" only applies to the FA Cup - should the winners of the League Cup qualify for Europe via the League then the European place for the League cup reverts to the next highest team in the League that hasn't already qualified for Europe.
