That Tam bloke is mad. He has already alienated supporters with the change of club colours and nickname. Now he wants to get rid of the most successful manager they have had in 50 years or so.

Surprised it's taken this long.

Thing is. If they hired another manager then he'd want money in January.

Had a thought over the weekend. Do you think manager loans would be something that could happen in the future?

either a manager struggling at the bottom of the PL, club would like to get rid so instead of legal troubles they loan him out to a team in the Champ and he is able to salvage some reputation while earning his wages instead of just going on the rubbish heap?

i am aware that Chelsea would just sign 5 managers at once so rivals couldn't have them and then loan them out abroad

Like a short term contract until the end of the current season?

The example I thought of at the weekend would be Martin Jol. Say Fulham wanted rid, they didn't want the legal headache and Jol himself was p*ssed off at losing his job and being forgotten about. Wigan just sacked Coyle, but were lower in the table than expected and had a decent squad. Job might be happy to be loaned to Wigan for the remainder of the season feeling that he would have a pretty good chance of improving them and keeping his reputation in place, Wigan then pay his wages for the season or split them with Fulham.

What happens if Fulham draw Wigan in the FA Cup? Simply sitting out the game isn't really an option is it?

Talksport reporter just said Mackay has a meeting with Tan on Christmas day. Lol @ getting someone in on Christmas day if you plan to sack them. And Mackays family still live in London if he will only meat him in Cardiff

Most teams train on Christmas Day anyway, so it's not a massive deal.

If he's going to get sacked he'd probably prefer it happens on Christmas Day. That way he can get properly shitfaced over the festive period.
