I personally hope Brenden does well in the Premiership. Ok he said some silly things during his short tenure as Reading Manager, but who on here hasn't said something stupid at some stage in their life. The only problem is, he was in the media spotlight at the time. albeit the Evening Post.

Brended clearly has a lot of time and affection for our club and I am sure he wishes he could have done the same with us, however, it was wrong time and wrong place and he had big boots to fill. Probably tried to do too much too quickly in his time with us and that was his downfall. Despite this, I cannot begrudge a person who has contributed alot to our club in the past a bit of success. His record in management has been good as well, and at the time I thought we were harsh in sacking him so quickly. Other managers such as Terry The Taxi and Burns were afforded a lot more time than him. Some will say he inherited what Martinz started, but he still had to keep it going and added players to the Swansea team that made a difference.

He will find it tough in the Premiership, however I hope he sticks with Swansea as I can see him a a Manager a lot of mid-table Prem teams would like to poach. Can see him moving on from Swansea at the end of next season to somehwere like Villa and he will probably fook it right up there.

I'm not going to bang on about the worst refereeing display in a final I've seen, the rediculous gifting of goals, the shots and corners Reading's attacking play bought or, but for the width of a post, I think we'd have pulled off one of the most unlikely come backs this final has ever seen as that would obviously make me a bitter and twisted individual.

All I will say was that, on the day, Reading were not light years behind Swansea.

All credit to Rodgers in that he's been given opportunity after opportunity in the media to say something negative about Reading and has not done so. It must be human nature to be tempted to twist the knife a little given the circumstances but he has risen above that which is admirable and shows a lot more humility that he ever showed at Reading

As he has said, he learned a lot at Reading, maybe this demonstrates some of it.

I was one of the few who wanted him to stay, results were improving and the players were getting to grips with what he wanted to do. well done to him, showed the upmost respect for RFC since he left, and to be fair well and truly stuffed everything back in Madejski's face.

Having said that, Im more than satified with Brian, the bloke deserves so much credit for what he has done since Rodgers went. I for one am going to Fun n Frolic to get a skin coloured swimming hat and a pair of glasses for Blackpool away next season.

Well, to be perfectly honest with you old boy his record here was nigh on pretty abysmal. You forget what happened on the pitch on many an occasion. Sheepish, belly tickling from QPR, West Brom, Peterborough, Sheffield Utd, Newcastle, and even when we did play well we invariably lost (or dropped points) - Leicester, Cardiff, Scunthorpe, Ipswich. Six wins from 25 games is not a good record, and the results on the record will always show that, quite frankly, he was shit while he was Reading manager. Full credit to him though, his tenure at Swansea has been much more spectacular and successful thus far.
