Stooper Ramirez to Soton is a real coup

Where have Southampton got all this money from? Ramirez and Rodriguez combined is almost £20m!

Isnt this how they got fcked up in the first place?

Even before this signing I could see them staying up.

Didn't their very rich owner die and leave silly amounts of money to the club via a trust?

With Nuri Sahin coming in, as they've told him not to join Liverpool as they can offer Champions League football

I believe that is more than Ronaldo, Messi & Toure. Not sure about Tevez though.

RVP the highest paid player in the normal football world (excludes the freak wages in China & Russia)??

Wasn't Becks supposedly on £500k a week when he signed for LA Galaxy?

He took a big pay cut to go to the US (assume the sponsorship opportunities would more than make up for it)

Beckham earn $3M per year at LA Galaxy which is £36,000 a week

Just heard that Beckham earns £36,000 a day from sponsorship!

I have to admit that I was a bit surprised that he is still only 24 years old. He seems to have been around for a long time already.

I remember him on loan at Charlton the season they were relegated. That feels a lot longer ago than it is though.

Josh McEachran drops down to the Championship for a loan deal with Middlesbrough after failing to make any kind of impact at Swansea last season

So, maybe we can make our predictions now about which two Arsenal players will leave (contrary to the club's wishes/plans, you know what I mean) next summer.

Szczesny & Cazorla, my early prediction.

Cazorla wont - i feel it will be either Vermaelen or Koscielny

Agreed, wouldn't have thought he adds much to the team, nor can he expect to start many games.

Maybe he does harbour genuine ambitions of forcing his way into the side.

But it does look like a totally different mindset, doesn’t it? Most of us would suffer all sorts for the chance to play a 10 minute cameo for Reading – Sinclair is 23/24, arguably the best player in a team that plays terrific football, but will jump the minute the notes are waved in his face. Perhaps Swansea made it clear they’d go nowhere near City’s valuation of him.

I wouldn't say he was their best player. Nathan Dyer was their POTS, I thought Sinclair was reasonable but deffo not the star man in their team like he was the season before.

£5M fee for his transfer apparently

Edit - Vorm was the clubs named player of the season, Dyer was the fans player of the season

Quite good business by City though, sell a decent winger for £10m and replace him with another decent winger for £5m.
