Royal RotherTony Le MesmerTredder Park was 2 and we've yet to pay anything for Diakite, as there is a games clause.
Granero is undisclosed, on a technicality etc.. Still a great signing, but a lot of expenditure is being offset, admittedly not all, but we have Fernandes and Mittal to offset some with their loose change.
Sky money is huge, especially the higher up the league you get
Tredder, Im sticking up for your club on another thread re your ground, but you are in complete cloud cookoo land regarding your signings this summer. I dont think I have ever seen a more reckless and ill educated set of signings in my life. Cesar is a good one, but most of the rest are "on the back peddle" as they might say in the Greyhound world and that is just a simple recipe for disaster.
When Fernades moves his QPR to another part of the country, or when your has been players are filling up the treatment table and all need replacing to avoid the drop, come back and tell me you still think QPRs transfer policy is sound. You might finish as high a 10th this year with a bit of luck you know, just WOW. Everything about QPR at the moment sums up what is so wrong with the Premier League and makes it such a grotesque league to play in.
When you add Cisse, Wright Phillips, Zamora, and Kieron (still not retired) Dyer to this year's signings it really does look like a badly ill-advised policy. They might have the odd flashy win but I totally agree with TLM that a bunch of mercenaries and has-beens desperately seeking their last decent contract really is a recipe for disaster in the PL.
It's going to be a race between WHU and QPR to see which club gets relegated first - whoever it is will be truly fcuked.
Southampton achieved a top 3 finish by signing a load of "has-beens" and then stayed at the top level for nearly 30 years with a ground holding a max. of just 15,000.
Not saying that I agree with what QPR are doing but it can work.
