imo yet another vicitm of the stoopid "sack the Board/Manager" thickos. The "Adams out" campaign was vitriolic there.

They are currently seventh and third top scorers in the division. I'd have put money on them getting into the playoffs, if not better, from there.

OK losing to Preston was not good, but the Cup is a devalued tournament and promotion is their only real goal.

ps losing twice to us recently must have been a major factor.

Stranded Neil Adams resigns as Norwich manager. Mike Phelan takes over on a caretaker basis to be begin with at least.

in between their two defeats to us their four-game record was three wins (including a 6-1 and a 5-0), plus a draw at Derby. Rubbish.

Hmmm, more to this than meets the eye;

"The 49-year-old will take a break from football and return to the club in an unidentified role in July"

Doesn't sound like the usual resignation does it?

Has the ring of personal problems. Divorce / losing a loved one etc. Maybe stress or heart related and he needs a lower stress role?

I wondered if it was something more simple like he couldn't motivate the modern day egotistical players despite being a highly respected coach of youngsters. I thought his comments after resigning were strange in that he praised the fans but no mention of the players......

I'm surprised that Harry Redknapp's position doesn't appear to be under any threat; I suspect that it is as much to do with the fact that Fernandez has other, far more important things to worry about at the moment as anything else.

So important he spends most of his time on Twitter.

To be fair to Fernandez, he isn't going on there saying how much he is looking forward to watching Will.I.Am on The Voice, is he? He is using Twitter as a means of communicating to as wide an audience as possible, as quickly as possible, the latest situation on the Air Asia tragedy.

Despite his "war chest", Louis van Gaals' team are on 37 points from 21 games this season. Which coincides with Moyes 37 points from 21 games last season. How much longer will the OT faithful stay tolerant?

Peeters sacked at Charlton.

Apparently getting worried that decent managers getting snapped up whilst they are in downward spiral. They are in talks to appoint Sherwood.

Jeez

Still, one win in the last thirteen? (needless to say, at Reading)

Based on that, Pearcey with just two wins from the last twenty must surely be favourite to become Championship casualty #14

That's a stupid comment. Forest won five of their first seven games (unbeaten in the other two) and played us at a time when we had more than half our first team injured - Taylor, Kuhl, Edwards and Cummings all started.

Blackpool - lost
Wigan - drew
Millwall - lost to us
Leeds - drew
Rotherham - lost
Brighton - drew
Fulham - lost
Bolton - drew
Huddersfield - won 2-1 - best results 3-1 vs Wolves, 4-2 vs Blackpool, 3-0 vs Fulham, 3-1 vs Watford
Charlton - won 1-0 - best results 3-2 vs Derby (wow they really don't do wins, particularly by multiple goals)

So what you mean is, Forest and Birmingham, both who were in fine form when they played us, have got their best results against us. Wow.

Paul Jewell's one-week stay at West Brom explained - asked by the club to take a pay cut and change his remit so Pulis could bring in Gerry Francis too.

Tbf to Jewell, if I joined a new company and 1 week later they told me I would have to take a pay cut as they wanted to take another employee, I would walk away too.

I bet Pulis wasn't going to take a pay cut to help fund bringing in his mate.
