To try to offer a solution to this conundrum that clearly keeps Kes awake at nights.
Most pundits are British/English. Perhaps in an attempt to recapture their past glories Liverpool have tried more British/English players over the last 20 years with relative but not ultimate success than most other teams. Carragher and PhiLOL Thompson aside, none that pop up are really one club Liverpool men. The likes of Murphy and James spent more time playing away from Liverpool than for them.
Players like Owen and McManaman are quite unique within current pundit circles as they've played not only for Liverpool & England but also cover for the Manchester clubs as well as Real Madrid.
The likes of of Hoddle, Souness and Wilkins (before he got done for drink driving) were regular pundits for similiar reasons I'd imagine. There's a double Chelsea connection there too and you can triple that if you throw in Gullit who regularly (or at least did) do Champions League for Sky.
Also don't Ferrer and Scott Minto also head up alot of La Liga coverage?. More Chelsea bias?
Or it could just be Agent Incest.
