Wrong there sandy-it is a club I have a great interest in and a very close second to Reading.

HAHAHAHAHA I literally can't stop laughing. There's just so many positives. Gerrard's goodbye, their glory hunting non scouse fans from the 70s having fits of hysteria, the picture of Sterling in front of their fans and Bodgers being found out again. Plus it was Stoke.
He won't survive this will he? I hope he stays personally. He's provided many of us with such great entertainment there.

Don't really get the 'second club' thing.

Personally like to see any team with a number of our international lot do well but that's as far as it goes.

"Brendan knows his onions".

"He'll get it right, trust me"

Liverpool fans quotes from this season.

Not been on here in weeks but I had to today.

Anyone who thinks Rodgers will still be there come next season is deluded.

Although those players need to have a look at themselves - to put on a showing like that for Gerrard's last ever game is completely spineless. Regardless of what you think of the manager, Gerrard deserved a better send off than that.

If I was a Liverpool fan I'd be quite angry.

Sanguine
MmmMonsterMunch The knives are well & truly out for him now. Was reading some forums yesterday and most comments were "Talks a good game but no substance", "the players had no idea what they were supposed to be doing", "death by football" & also referring to his dossier of tactics.

 All sounds so very familiar.

Trophy-less, sure. But there wasn't a single Liverpool fan claiming the players had no idea what they were doing when they finished 2nd last season. Nor indeed when they went unbeaten for 12 games recently when Rodgers switched to 3-4-3.

Fickle fans. Rodgers is a very good manager.

 You stand by this statement?!

Sorry but he's sh*t.

Well if it's that obvious please spell it out RR.

He's managed to win a play off final with a squad he didn't build & already had momentum from the Martinez era.

What else has he achieved? BMc has achieved more than BR.

BR was just very lucky Suarez was on fire last season and Sturridge remained injury free.

Many Liverpool fans have made excuses about this seasons form by losing these two players. A sign of a good manager is overcoming these problems by grinding out results. BR has only one way of playing. No plan B or C - and that's be very evident this season and that's why Jose is the best manager.

He was given plenty of dough to replace players he lost.

Hardly luck that Suarez was 'on fire'. He scored sh*t loads the season before and even more back at Ajax. He was one of the most sought after forwards in europe when Liverpool signed him as he was scoring more than a goal a game.

If you wanted to pick at Liverpool or Rodgers there are loads of things you could easily have gone for. But to say they got lucky that a player scored loads, when he has a history of scoring loads, seems odd.

I hate that Peter Sutcliffe, he is so horrible, he turns my stomach. His haircut just makes he hate him so much......

I'm not saying he's anywhere near the best.

You said he's a shit manager. He's not.

You don't get as close as he did last year to winning the PL if you're a shit manager.

But yes, the blind and stupid will continue to think within the confines of their prejudice, ignore his achievements (because it was all down to Martinez, Suarez etc. etc.) and label him shit and any other insults feeble little heads can come up with.

As I say, carry on.

By luck - I mean they're attacking force last season was so good it kinda hid their defensive incapabilities, certainly against the lesser sides. Suarez looked World Class against the likes of Norwich but his scoring record against the top sides was poor.

With all their scousy lovee dovee lovins and victim cries, and how Stevie G (who internationally was shite) is world class and was magnificent in Istanbul (even though they drew and were completely outplayed for all but 10 minutes). I HATE THEM AND THEIR OVERRATED PLAYERS. So yes it often feels like he and that club have A.
