SanguineMmmMonsterMunch The knives are well & truly out for him now. Was reading some forums yesterday and most comments were "Talks a good game but no substance", "the players had no idea what they were supposed to be doing", "death by football" & also referring to his dossier of tactics.
All sounds so very familiar.
Trophy-less, sure. But there wasn't a single Liverpool fan claiming the players had no idea what they were doing when they finished 2nd last season. Nor indeed when they went unbeaten for 12 games recently when Rodgers switched to 3-4-3.
Fickle fans. Rodgers is a very good manager.

No Fixed Abode BR was just very lucky Suarez was on fire last season and Sturridge remained injury free.
Many Liverpool fans have made excuses about this seasons form by losing these two players. A sign of a good manager is overcoming these problems by grinding out results. BR has only one way of playing. No plan B or C - and that's be very evident this season and that's why Jose is the best manager.

Well if it's that obvious please spell it out RR.
He's managed to win a play off final with a squad he didn't build & already had momentum from the Martinez era.
What else has he achieved? BMc has achieved more than BR.

I'm not saying he's anywhere near the best.
You said he's a shit manager. He's not.
You don't get as close as he did last year to winning the PL if you're a shit manager.
But yes, the blind and stupid will continue to think within the confines of their prejudice, ignore his achievements (because it was all down to Martinez, Suarez etc. etc.) and label him shit and any other insults feeble little heads can come up with.
As I say, carry on.

Hardly luck that Suarez was 'on fire'. He scored sh*t loads the season before and even more back at Ajax. He was one of the most sought after forwards in europe when Liverpool signed him as he was scoring more than a goal a game.
If you wanted to pick at Liverpool or Rodgers there are loads of things you could easily have gone for. But to say they got lucky that a player scored loads, when he has a history of scoring loads, seems odd.
