Nothing of particular interest in the article itself, I'm just astounded as to how many very well known players are currently on loan deals, or have been last season.

City suffering for being minted. Offer of £40m for Sterling turned down. Offer of £5m for Fulhams Patrick Williams rejected (he'll go for closer to £10m). Rumours they want Wilshere too, but that he will cost north of £30m.

20% of any fee for Sterlings would go to QPR. Which is a shame.

With City already breaching FFP - and (so far) only offloading Richards and Milner - How can they afford in excess of £40m for Sterling? And perhaps similar for Pogba?

Could it be because FFP means diddly squat?

Winston Smith Jackson Martinez to Milan for €35M

How do AC Milan find the money? They've been doing pretty shit in recent years, yet can seemingly have a whipround and tempt one of Europe's most prolific strikers to a team not involved in a European competition.

Seems I was somewhat premature on the transfer. I blame the Porto owner who said it was a done deal.

generally agreed though. Milan have had a lean few years money wise but now look likely to put all their hopes on this one big signing. I have read that they have signed up some of the most promising young brazilians into their youth team too.

Aren't Valencia tied in to buying Negredo for £22m?. I'm sure they could also "sell" a few squad players to New York City for £250m.

Andre-Pierre Gignac joins Tigres in Mexico on a free.

Bit of  in France apparently. He was 2nd top scorer in the French league, played for the national team and had been linked with a move to host of quite decent clubs around Europe.

I would love to see 2003-2012 Chelsea cope with FFP

Looks like Cech to Arsenal is a done deal.

Good to see the best players staying in the Premier League.

Chelsea handing Arsenal the 15/16 title. Interesting.

Strange thing to say really. It will improve them, but we have Courtois and a better defence.

:?:

Your very own John Terry says that this appointment will gain Arsenal 12-15 points. Apply that to 14/15 season Arsenal are champions!!

Yeah - very strange
