What are the odds on Mourinho not lasting the season? I don't think he'll be first PL manager to go, thanks to dick Advocaat, but he looks like he'll walk before roman gives him some pollonium tea

I don't think that he'll leave - he will more than likely use this "poor start" to get some more cash to buy some new players

a centre half and a full back for starters

It's probably just because it's Mourinho but I couldn't help but think the substitution of Terry was a nod to get upstairs to pull their finger out wrt Stones

I'm sure m8y from Coral said on Talksport this morning that Mourinho had come down from 50/1 to 20/1 but I'm not 100% certain of if that was to be next manager to leave or to last the season

Just checked Skybet and they're quoting him at 10s to be next manager to leave - 2nd favourite behind Advocaat (even money  )

Did you think that because its exactly what the pundits said after the game?

Costa's got to be good for at least three red cards this year. Fernandinho should have walked, but if they weren't before, every defender will be trying to get in his head now.

Dunno mate, I watch the game and formulate my own opinion.

But if you want to wait for Niall Quinn to offer his pearls of wisdom before deciding what you think, knock yourself out. I've already turned it over/off by then.

But he'd 'lost' it yesterday and was going to get a red card......

:|

You can't blame him for being aggrieved when Fernandinho should have been sent off.

And, although the game was over at this point - Yaya Toure should have been off for a 2nd yellow.

Sorry m8, was just finishing my post match report, was too busy to turn it over.

Although  at the sarcastic use of 'pearls of wisdom' when you've said the exact same thing...

You're quite right, he did lose it, and Ramires etc did well to restrain him, otherwise im pretty certain he wouldn't have come back for the second half.

You're also right, Fernandinho should have gone. But it seemed to me that Costa seemed to get more wound up by what was being said afterwards, rather than the elbow itself.

Saved by the half time whistle really, opposition defenders should remember to rattLOLe him when there's still time for his red mist to descend

Broken clock and all that fella.

Don't get me wrong I can see why you would think viewers hang on the word of pundits and to an even lesser degree commentators but believe it or not there are plenty who don't.
