I know i'm being picky - but could someone do it without the combined spend of Newcastle/Villa for the championship? Would probably represent a more realistic figure I imagine

Newcastle spent £54.74M and Villa spent £49.47M so around £104M combined (though Newcastle made a net profit due to their sales)

genome Eh, personally I think it's fair enough for any club to spend within what they've sold, it's just on a large scale.

Winston Smith Barcelona suing Santos over their selling of Barbosa to Inter for €30ish million last month. When Barcelona bought Neymar they put into the contract 3 other Santos players that they had first refusal on, with the instruction being that they had 3 days to decide on buying each player once Inter notified them that they were about to sell the players. Inter notified Barcelona of their intention to sell Barbosa then sold him 2 days later giving Barca no time to decide if they would be taking him.

Have you got your buyers and sellers in a twist there?
