(It irritates me how people still refer to Beckham as being the semi-literate lad with the cockney squeaky voice who burst on our scenes a couple of decades ago. The guy is a real professional now - he's worked extremely hard to educate himself, has obviously had extensive elocution lessons and has a confidence about him that I admire hugely. A credit to himself.)
