Mourinho: "But I am more than convinced that we will finish in the top four, and when the season is so bad if you finish in the top four it is OK."

:? Wasn't he slating Arsene Wenger not so long ago, stating that 4th was failure?

I wouldn't be surprised if "he's lost the dressing room". I hate that phrase...

There's a limit to his arrogance being acceptable. Sacking Eva probably pissed off a lot of the squad.

I think most of the players think he's a dick

sandman Congratulations to the match referee who wins Jose's now weekly blame game.

I'm presuming he was blaming him for being poor overall and not giving Southampton 2 nailed on penalties in the first half?

Funnily enough he didn't want to make a comment on the two Southampton appeals when he was asked on Match Of The Day.

Like others I'm sure, I heard his comments on MOTD - "referees are afraid to give us decisions". What a nob.

Do Chelsea fans actually like him? I can see why they used to but now he just appears very pathetic. I don't think he could be more arrogant if he tried

Agreed Bobby, as much as it's a bit of a weak cliché, I think the players have stopped playing for him and they've lost that edge that you need at that level.

I also wonder how big a part in that John Terry has played. His loss of form was possibly the starting point of the collapse but then the way Jose treated him has obviously been quite contentious. I'm sure JT still runs the dressing room and it's been rumoured before that he's been a negative force against previous managers.

As for Jose, he's just a rich mans Martin Allen. His approach can only last so long before everyone grows tired of him. Hopefully he'll be gone soon as he's one of the worst for turning modern football into the pantomime that it's become.

Any coincidence that since Chelsea lost their Sport Scientist to Brighton (bigger club) that they've looked lacklustre and off the pace?!

Hi I'm back. Busy catching up with work though.

At least you can't sing "Where were you when you were shit" any more.

Pretty sure EP would be disgusted with some of the WUMMING on this thread. Take a look at yourselves you lot.

Hi Kes.

Should Chelsea sack Mou? Anybody in particular you'd rather have in the job right now, or is it best to leave it up to him to work through the crisis?
