Zammo
AthleticoSpizz ex-Chelsea legend (and self-confessed alcoholic) Ray " Butch" Wilkins recieves 10 week suspended sentence, 140 hours community order and 4 year driving ban for his third D&D conviction.

I like Butch Wilkins on talkSport.....but THREE drink driving convictions. What sort of pr!ck does that? Should be banned for life.

Agreed. Putting others people's lives at risk - you've got to be a bit of a dick. Thankfully he didn't killed anyone unlike Luke McCormick.

Saw Victor Moses started in the friendly against Liverpool last night - how does this guy continue to carve out a career?

Yeah I saw that, both teams played a mix of first-teamers and youngsters.
Looked competitive though.

Surprised you didn't rush on here to post up the score at FT.

I've only just seen it. Unlike some who were perched at their computer waiting for another team's kit launch with b8ed breath.

Yeah, I was surprised how quickly TBM got those images up on there too!

Anyway do you not agree it was an awful tackle? Because Chelsea's twitter feed seems to think it was a "little harsh".

Stupid and clumsy thing to do in a meaningless game. I expect there was no malicious intent just completely mis-timed and over enthusiastic.

Believe Cesc went to the Liverpool dressing room immediately after the game and apologised.

Mentioned on Twitter by Charles Watts actually, who is the reporter for my own football team.

But yeah, looking at a Twitter feed is the same as 28,000 posts on an opposing team's forum.

What's wrong with a bit of diversity?

BTW - the tackle wasn't bad at all. A little mistimed but not high at all. Cesc's foot landed on the top of his.

I would apologise to someone if I trod on someones foot. It doesn't mean it's that bad or they'll be hospitalised. Perhaps he apologised as he doesn't want the Mourinho type shenanigans at Chelsea anymore because it certainly wasn't a leg breaker or a high tackle..

I see Stam is already trolling Kes...

“If he went somewhere like Chelsea or a big club it will be very hard for him to play. So we spoke to him and he was very keen to join us. We’re very happy to have got him to join Reading.”
