Any club managed by 'our Colin' Warnock and im out im afraid...

Oh and i think that we had registered interest beforehand after his loan stint at Brentford but it went cold so i guess we weren't won over at the time??
Would be a good addition but would rather look to CB or CM or look to a foreign bargain if the price exceeds 4 mill - 40 goals or not (Jimmy Quinn must be smarting)

Only been having a bit of banter so to speak. On a serious note i happen to know someone who is very close to someone at the club and the other day i had a message saying Rhodes would be staying at the club for one more season. Who knows what the outcome will be, normally the players agents get into their heads and change everything. Rhodes is a great guy and you can tell his father who used to be a goalkeeper has brought him up in a proper manner and is used to dealing with the media and pressure of being a professional footballer.
If you get him i am sure he will carry on and score goals, he just has that knack of being in the right place and is very good with both feet and in the air. Of course i hope he will stay with us but as some of your posters say, money talks and we as a club could not stand in his way if the right move comes along. As i said in my first post good luck for next season and wish all you fans all the best..

You know what? Im gonna go into a shop one day to buy something expensive. When they tell me i need to pay ££££ ill just tell them "I had that much last week, but this week i have f*ck all", then ill walk out with nothing.
So what if Reading may not have a massive history... its called history for a reason.
We are now in the premier league, and thats all that most players and fans (those who aren't bitter anyway) will care about.
Congratulations on winning the league in the 1920s... means b*gger all now though to be honest

Right joking apart.. what really have you guy's got to go on apart from say Twitter and the odd speculation in your local newspaper relating to the possibility of signing Rhodes.

Haven't you heard,we are the ninth richest club in the league,we do what we like

My northern friend,can't you tell a tongue in cheek post when you see one,most of my servants are northerners so I do like them.

we have 3 stars on our clubs shirt..

Its not the stars on the shirts it the starts in the shirts that makes the difference and your 1 star in your shirt will soon be a star in someone elses shirt.

BTW América de Cali in the Colombian league have 13 stars I take it that makes em 10 times better than Huddersfield? To be fair the fact that they are not from backward yorkshire makes them better than Huddersfield :lol:

History = 1871
Quality = Premier League 2012/13

Sounds better to me than Huddersfield Town at the moment.
