Royal Lady If it WERE just between us and Swansea, and he knew how much we all wanted him back - surely it would be a no-brainer? It's not over until a very fat lady sings as far as I'm concerned.

PieEater Or conversely he may hold a grudge against us (NH/SJM) that we sold him when he was happy here and shipped him off to Germany.
He would know that he doesn't fit into the current team formation so him signing would mean we'd have to change it.
I'm also a bit miffed about how Rodgers goes on about how he gave Gylfi his chance in the first team. oxf*rd off, he played him a couple of times and then dropped him and it's only when Brian took over that we built a team around him that showed what a talent he is. I really can't see that Rodgers would have any "pull" factor.

Ian Royal Gylfi made 17 appearances out of the 23 games under Rodgers and started 14 of them. Of all the criticisms you can throw Rodgers way (and I'm far from a fan), making out he didn't break Gylfi into the team is not one of them. He did.

How many of those was he played in a 4 man midfield?
The guy was clueless how to utilise the talent he had.
