Was it Saloman Kalou who said that they would have the league won by Christmas if they went into the new year with their 6 point lead? Oops.

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sp ... stmas.html

The Blues forward reckons his team will have the Premier League crown as good as wrapped up if the margin between them and United is not slashed by Yuletide.

Chelsea top the Premier League with 25 points from the opening 10 games.

United are third, level on 20 points with second-placed Arsenal.

Kalou said: "The goal is to be even further ahead in the Premier League by Christmas.

"The next month or so is a very important time of the season  in relation to the title. If we can still be at least five points ahead of Manchester United by Christmas, it will be a good step towards the title."

No - Kalou didn't say that.

What surprises me more, however, is that you chose to quote him not saying it.

Once again everything Ancellotti has said about the situtation leads me to believe the job he really wants is Man Utd.

Cracks me up. We've had a wobbly spell which most teams go through at some point in the season and we're still top of the league and the press say there is a crisis...

We didn't do much wrong against Birmingham on Saturday in general play, it was our finishing that let us down. We made numerous chances and on another day the score could have been about 5-1 to Chelsea.

But LOL for Chelsea being top of the Prem and in the next stage of the CL.

What makes me laugh though is Garth Crooks picked Drogba in his team of the week :|

I was once told by a BBC insider that when a Beeb journo rings Garth to pick his team of the week, he hands the phone to his son and he picks it.

Tell me the last time the best team in the league got mullered 3 games out of 4? It just doesn't happen. That sir is a crisis. Your manager is considering his future and put talks of a new contract on hold, he feels the chairman is interfering (almost always spells disaster) and your former assistant manager is speaking to lawyers for unfair dismissle. No need to panic.

Especially when losing to the might of Brum, Sunderland and LiverpooLOL.

Got Spurs, Utd, Gooners and Bolton in Dec. Gonna be interesting with the defence in their current shape....

Total LOL fest. The average age of the board members must be 11. Is that their main chat forum ?
