England XI to face Germany: Hart, Walker, Smalling, Jagielka, Cole, Gerrard (capt), Cleverley, Townsend, Rooney, Lallana and Sturridge.

Out of interest, why doesn't Dawson (Spurs captain) not get a call up/game?

Oh well, at least with Cleverley in midfield there'll be some dynamic forward momentum during the approximate 30% possession we "enjoy". :|

One of the most over-rated players going, I agree.

The only reason I might bother watching this is so that I have a handle on whatever mistake it is that Joe Hart makes when the media massively overreaxct tomorrow

Sweden vs Portugal >>> this.

Hell, Ghana vs Egypt >>> this and that was 6-1 in the first leg.

If Cleverley played for Fulham or WBA he would not get anywhere near this side, same goes for Smalling

That seems to fit the criteria to be an England player.

Spain's 1-0 loss to South Africa is not being officially recognised by FIFA as Spain made 1 too many substitutions.

Maybe we can also sub on an extra player in friendlies if we are about to lose and don't want the result to affect our FIFA ranking

I can understand if Spain won, but surely by doing that they didn't gain anything!?

Him and Townsend seemed to be on a crusade to highlight every time Hart touched the ball without throwing it into his net as an excellent save. Do they think they play their commentary over the tannoy at Wembley so the players can hear it otherwise I'm not sure what their attempt at confidence boosting was all about.
