NathStPaul What are your thoughts on the League 1 relegation battle WB?

He doesn't give a single fcuk apparently.

a significant number of f**ks given! (just missed your post)

Amazing run from Cheltenham and MK Dons (and Burton to a lesser degree) to pull themselves right out of it at this crucial time. Oxford have plummeted, and have a very tough run in. Accrington also have a tough run in but not as tough as Oxford. Morecambe also have some difficult fixtures. Oxford having a game in hand on Accrington and 2 in hand on Morecambe, and Oxford having the best goal diff might just be enough to save them. Though I am quite tempted to say they will finish 21st and drop.

final day of the season - Oxford Vs Accrington :o :o :o

I'd be tempted to go to that if it ends up being a do or die game. Being there to witness Oxford's relegation in person would be quite something.

Sheffield Wednesday's chaotic end to the season continues. They go top of the league today and at the same time are now no longer in control of their automatic promotion hopes

If Luton fail to win away at Millwall tomorrow lunchtime then Burnley are up if they win away at Boro in the evening game

Any interest in the race for promotion in League 2 WB?

very much so!

Orient are somehow still top after a fairly nuts 2nd half of the season. Stevenage currently doing their best to throw away automatic promotion too

I am mostly cheering on Bradford. Though Northampton appear to be the only team in the top 6, maybe even top 8, that have any kind of good form right now.

the top 6, aside from Northampton, have 7 wins combined in their last 25 games. Same amount as the 5 teams at the bottom

Wrexham lose to 17th place Halifax. Is the bottle job on again like last year?

5 games to go and 3 of the top 6 still to play, including leaders Notts County.

Queens Park blowing their attempted 3rd consecutive promotion with a 3rd loss in a row, losing 4-0 last night.

Title very much in Dundee's hands now. But they play each other on the final day

Let’s all  at LOLeicester.

Wonder how entitled their support will be when they eventually get relegated.

12 years after we played Scunny in the Champ, they are relegated down to the 6th tier.

Wrexham all but promoted as champions back to the FL now. Realistically just 6 points needed from 4 games and 2 of their remaining games are away at Torquay and home to Yeovil. Next game is a visit to Barnet while Notts Co are at home to Woking.

Torquay seem to be really putting a run together - 4 straight wins now, and only 2 points behind Aldersh*t.

Admittedly, two of their last 4 games are against Chesterfield and Wrexham (who might well be promoted by then), but they no longer look as doomed as they did once.

Dare I say that perhaps Maidenhead should be looking over their shoulders? A few weeks ago they looked comfortably safe, but now just six points above Torquay, but with one game fewer to play, and only one at home - and they seem to have lost their form of late.

But then Maidenhead would require Aldershot or Yeovil to catch them and don’t really see that happening as well as Torquay. Whatever Maidenhead do, keeping them up season after season as the only part time team in the league is a hell of an achievement, just wish they had the finances to become a more comfortable team in the league.

Maidenhead are not the only part time team in the National League. Wealdstone are part time & only train twice a week (when the training night does not clash with scheduled matches).

Still confident about that? With the games in hand for Aldershot & Torquay, it's suddenly got a whole lot closer.

Watched Maidenhead against Torquay last Monday and judging by what I saw they need to be very worried. Players were on the beach.

Wednesdays shambolic end to the season continues. 1 win in 8 and they are no longer in the top 2 places
