There appears to be absolutely no team spirit anymore - whether this coincides with Hunt getting an increase to 25k a week, I don't know. But I hope he had a clause in his contract more than halving it if we go down. Which he won't have, of course. So, Hunt would be first on my list to offload, but who in their right mind will want to sign him and pay that sort of wages?? Unless it's Roy Keane.

howser Just cant help my cynical self thinking that I can almost hear Mr Mad rubbing his hands thinking that we are going to sell all our decent ??, did I say decent !! players and collect all those millions of pounds, get all those nasty high salaries off the books, and of course we can use all our highly thought of, loaned out for this season and more to the point FREE youngsters £££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££

Thing is, there's no chance that he will be able to sell the club now, so he's shot himself in the foot. If he wanted to sell up he should've put forward some dosh to make us consolidate ourselves in the Prem and reaped the rewards afterwards. Massive business mistake on his part, and massive cock up from Coppell's part on the football side of things. Looking forward to a weekender in Swansea though. :|

RoyalBlue they are probably the same RTGs who have spent the whole of this season arguing that our squad was strong enough
the annoying thing is i do think this squad is good enough to stay up. We've played absolutely crap for months, and just poor for the first half of the season, and we aren't a million miles away from teams that have battled and worked their socks off all season.

The first half of the season showed that even with a minimum amount of organisation we could stay up., but since then I just have no idea what our players are trying to do on a saturday afternoon, and by the looks of things, neither do they.

If you look at things and hold your hand up and say that the team gave it their best shot, but just weren't good enough, then that would be fair enough, but it's the way that our premiership place has been thrown away with unprofessionalism and complacency that makes it hard to take.

why is it with people believing Madejski wears a wig?

Just take a look at P7 of today's programme. If that's a wig then I'm the anti-christ in a spandex jump-suit.

There might be a lot of players who WANT to leave if the inevitable happens, but how many clubs are going to come calling for defenders who cant defend, midfielders who when the going gets tough...disappear, and strikers that cant strike !.......

Players to leave:

Little - released
Oster - released
Shorey - £3m
Fae - Free

We arent relegated yet - I wish people would get a grip and look forward to Derby.

A point could be enough - a win gives us a pretty good chance.

Come on URZ.

Even if the players and management had the fight in them (and there's been f*ck all evidence so far this season to support that hope) we are dependent on others slipping up. Fulham are on a real roll and I don't expect them to now throw it away at Portsmouth.

The most annoying thing about this season has been the apparent lack of fight and complete absence of any real visible signs of a determination to succeed from the Chairman, management and players.

Oh here we go again!

There is a middle way, the trouble is some (including those at the club) are too stupid/vain to see it. Sensible PL investment from the money reaped in hand over fist from Sky and the supporters not low level Championship spending! Doing so would have given us a decent chance of staying up and wouldn't have endangered the club even had we gone down.

Trouble is we have a Chairman who thinks he can do it his way and completely defy the economics of big boys' football.

JM has a bloody thick skin - coming out again before the game to lap up the applause - yes he's done a lot for this club in the past, but he's undone a lot of it, in my eyes, by not investing in the club when we really needed it. If we could all see that we were going downhill and needed to strengthen, particularly in January, then why on earth couldn't he?? And if he could, but wasn't willing to free up enough money, then he only has himself to blame if he can't sell the club when he wants to, or gets a lot less for it.

If we are in the CCC

Then I'd expect to see leave

Shorey
Hunt - hopefully
Sonko
Fae
Lita
Sodje
Bennett
Stack
DLC - although I'd keep him if we went down.
maybe Bikey + Marek
some of the youngsters Andersen, Davies, Osano, Bozanic etc

I can't wait until 'The Ego has landed' with a massive great thump on his *rse!

His hype at the start of the season read like an advert in Autotrader and the product delivered completely failed to live up to the description!

Totally right - Madejski has run the club as a business- has LOANED the club money to but players and got the money back plus interest- Hes not got the club at heart, purely a way to promote his egotistical self to the people . The clever people see that , those that don't well..................
