leicsRoyal We are not going to spend any money without it coming in first.

It is a bit of a concern that once the likes of Mills and Long move on, many of the targets that we may well have been interested in will already have been snapped up.

Assuming of course we spend then. Manset and B.Williams are both going to see a lot more football this season in support of Church and Hunt. Perhaps we're not even considering a replacement for Long. Even for the defence I can see us looking to the kids again; namely Jack Mills who is pushing hard to make the step up.

Could you imagine this board if we get £4mil for Mills, £7mil for Long and probably a couple of mill for AN other and we bring in no one?

Hoop Blah Graham's only really had one good season in the Championship so not sure I'd agree on his record being so great.

Morison only played one season in the Championship so not sure he's proven anymore than CMS to be honest.

Still more proven in this division than CMS yet go for similar fees. Being prolific in League One doesn't always translate to being prolific in the Championship.

Like I said I don't see the justification in his past record for such a high fee. For example look at Ricky Lambert and his lower league record and he went for £1m.

At 27 he may have thought that living on the south coast is so much more preferable to living near and playing at Leicester or West Ham and.dare I say,Reading.
Add in the fact that there is a fabulous new ground,a lively and successful manager and you start to see reasons why the player might want to go there.

From the club's perspective,as an earlier poster said, they have lost two of their better attacking players so they needed to do something and it seems like a statement of intent.
Good luck to the lad who is a real trier on the pitch but strikes me as being a bit limited however in our football the managers tend to like players who run about a lot even if they don't have great technical ability.
IMHO Shane Long is much the same if a bit slower but a bit better in the air.

Also IIRC CMS was quite late coming to the fully professional game (like Morison)so may well have improvement in him.

He could of course just be gay. He does have flowing blonde locks. They'll love him down there.

Not sure Morison is really more proven at this level than CMS, but again, that's just an opinion.

Lambert is a funny one actually. He had/has a lot going for him but he didn't seem to attract enough attention from Championship clubs and so ended up at Saints. Seems odd to me as he was always quite impressive. Perhaps that had something to do with the lower fee.
