Hoop Blah If we're looking to nick a Watford defender then we should be after Taylor not Doyley. I think he'd be ideal to partner Pearce.


'greed ....in addition to that his contract expires end of 11/12 season and would leave on a a free (unless he renegotiates of course) & he's 6'' taller & 2 stone heavier than Doyley so has more of a 'presence' in the box, - I know that's not the be all & end all of defending but Doyley has been at Watford for ever & you would need a crowbar to prise him away I think, whereas Taylor arrived on a free from Birmingham last season, so no major allegiances to the club
