s'funny, really.
I said to some friends and family recently (after losing the play-off final) that I thought the Royals would lose Mills, Long, Federici, Kebe and McAnuff this summer, albeit for a tidy sum of £15-20m
McAnuff has signed a new deal, which I think is good.
Mills just left for Leicester for something like £5m
Long possibly off for at least £5m
Kebe to Fulham - what do we think - £3.5m?
Feds to go for £2.5m?? Perhaps when the merry-go round starts with Villa taking Shay Given from Man City...

That would possibly leave us with a £10-11m war chest (£16m minus the £5m we got for Mills to balance the books).
We could get this young Irish winger in for a small fee to cover the loss of Kebe whilst HRK slots in nicely, perhaps get Leon Best in a deal for Long at no additional charge, McCarthy or Anderssen for Feds for no fee at all apart from a pay rise and then money to afford a new centre back and left back.

I don't think that would upset the apple cart too much and will stand us in good stead to have another steady season.
