HTF has he got 50 odd appearances?!

happy to let him go back tbf, its just not working this year.
though ill accept he was part of our best midfield last season, by some way.

'greed, not quite sure why the Tabb/Howard pairing was never really resurrected, admittedly it was part of a system with Gylfi in but still slightly disappointing that it was never really brought back.

Something must have happened between the end of last season and the beginning of this because even in the first match of the season before Gylfi left McDermott left both players on the bench. In fact he seems to have lost faith in both players. At the end of last season it would have been unthinkable that we would have let Tabby get within six months of his contract expiring without apparently offering him a new one.

Karacan has made himself virtually undroppable and he's fighting for the same place as Tabb. Howard's been a bit off form and can be a bit of a luxury in a team with two quite light weight wingers. We miss his passing, but we're stronger defensively without him.

I'd rather see him in the team than not if only because I'd rather we played a more finessed passing game, alongside Leigterwood would be interesting. But as I said Karacan is not going to be dropped and rightly so. Not sure why Howard and him hasn't really worked.

I suspect this may have legs....good fit to add back up capability to midfield, well rated, on a free, relatively local.

Unless missing something this might be a sensible gamble.

One of the guys in the office is a scunny fan, he says this lad looked good for them in the first half of last season and then lost interest. He had a clause in his contract that scunny could offer him another year on the same terms and he would have to sign, but they were so annoyed with his attitude and wanted him out so they didn't offer that contract!

He has since signed... to be on the cast of 'the only way is essex'.

No thanks
