Royal With Cheese
TBM
andrew1957 McCarthy cannot be recalled for at least a month.

Nope - we have a 24hr recall clause

I heard he had an explosive necklace that, when activated, only gives him 8 hours to return to Berkshire before it explodes.

To which TheTilehurstEnd said;
Is there something to read between the lines in @MikkelAndersen1 's last tweet.... #stirringupaslownewsday

And Andersen replied

Ideal Well apparently ManU and the other top clubs are queueing up to buy that dutch guy Swansea have in goal. Fork?

Was that an attempt at "Vorm"?

If so, this might help:

Vorm:

Fork:

He's not white. That should probably explain Ideal's difficulties.

Yes, that is generally what UNFOUNDED means. And seeing as we are in the UNFOUNDED rumours and gossip section, I would say that it fits in here quite well. Take your nitpicking elsewhere.

I will be very suprised if Feds is a Reading FC player at the start of the 2012/13 season. But leaving in January?? I don't think so........

There is a difference though, between those rumours where "such and such a player" is linked, or "I have a mate who is married to an estate agent who was showing Fernando Torres around a terrace house in the Oxford Road - he must be coming to Reading on loan!" stories, and simply putting stuff on a forum that pretends it is based on fact, but is just a post for the sake of it.

May as well start a thread saying that Messi is coming here.

I still stand by my previous post. If a rumour is unfounded then it doesnt matter whether it's shoddy newspaper/internet journalism, or a rumour someone has heard from their mates or whatever. Most of the time they're the same anyway, and I'm sure that rumours off here have been reported by journos (my one about Kris Boyd being the latest)

I hope he doesn't leave, and if all goes well he won't, but I didn't post this out of nowhere Mr. Angry. So:

If the club does off-load Feds before the 1st of Feb, then I will apologise to you.

When he doesn't go, no doubt the reason will be because "things didn't work out quite right" or "the club wanted too much money from the unnamed club" or some such BS.

i don't doubt we are looking to offload the lad, not with two very good keepers vying for the shirt. i just question the quality of club wanting federici. nothing about him screams premiership. he's an average championship keeper. he rates himself higher, and good luck to him, but under the microscope of the premier league he would be found out very quickly. i do hope we make some money on him and then give mccarthy a shot with andersen as number two, but i do doubt federici's ego will allow him to leave for another championship club, unless one is stupid enough to throw silly money at him. sadly leicester already have a costly mediocre goalie.

So what happened then Stuka? Why didn't the club get rid of Feds?

Can't your "contact" tell you?

Or were you simply making it all up?

Which would rather suggest that it is YOU that is the bellend.

There are a lot of things that clubs try to do (or plan to cover) that never actually happen.

Just because it hasn't happened doesn't mean the club weren't discussing it.
