Friday's Legacy
Simon's Church I thought Lukaku couldn't be loaned out anyway because he's already played for Chelsea and Anderlecht this season, or have I got the rule wrong?

the player we're after is Afobe.

ssn now reporting Afobe to Reading loan. nothing official from rfc yet.

Sky Sports understands Arsenal youngster Benik Afobe is poised to join Reading on-loan for the rest of the season.

The 19-year-old has not played a single senior game for the Gunners this season but Arsene Wenger wants to give the young striker a chance of first-team football.

Reading are thriving in the Championship at the moment and are eyeing an automatic promotion place as they currently lie second.

Royals' boss Brian McDermott is looking for extra fire power and believes the England under-19 international can add another dimension to his front line.

Afobe joined Huddersfield last season on loan and scored five goals in 28 games for the Terriers during the League One campaign.

Based on those stats he is on course to get us no more than 2 goals (providing he plays of course)

After reading his wiki, it does say he got 4 MOTM in a row and a number of key assists, which will please our resident statos.

Good skillz again Friday's Legacy, and Schards too!!

We were looking at him before Roberts pulled his hamstring, so that further suggests Church and possibly Le Fondre and not enough. I think Church will go in the summer - an hope he does :!:

Pleased if true. Basically a younger, quicker Roberts.

He must be 'mazin Daily Mail first with the news as always

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footba ... Afobe.html

But on a serious note, reading through the arsenal reserves report from the other night v Liverpool and other snippets, as WR said, he sounds a Roberts type hold up player with more pace, younger and still a lot to prove. Would be quite happy to see him push the other strikers for a starting berth should Roberts scan be bad news.

Good work Fridays Legacy and Schards.

Let's hope he can impress. I don't fancy our chances with Church back in the side.
