Bolton have made a £300k bid for Craig Davies, 23 goals last season, 19 this...... sounds like a Reading type player perhaps?

Know its lower league but Alfie seems to be coping well enough.

Chesterfield ended the season as league champions, thereby winning promotion to League One. Davies finished with 23 league goals to his name, putting him joint fourth (with Adam le Fondre) in the division's scoring charts - five goals above striker partner Jack Lester, but five goals behind Crewe Alexandra's Clayton Donaldson. He was also named in the PFA Team of the Year, along with teammates Danny Whitaker and Tommy Lee.
His highly successful season with Chesterfield earned him attention from numerous Championship clubs, including Reading.

We looked at him a couple of seasons ago, defintely got ability but his attitude has been questioned in the past. I've seen him a few times now, a definite yes for the championship but I'm not so sure if he is up to the Prem.

Yes but I doubt you are a 6'2 professional footballer who came through the Man City development system and has netted 49 league goals in the last 2 seasons......

If you were then I would agree you would perhaps be worth a gamble at £300k
