Papa Zinga up s*** creek?

by sandman » 16 May 2013 23:23

Heard some information indirectly from a Board Member of another Championship club who have a Russian investor that Papa Zinga is in a bit of trouble with the Ruskie government and they're threatening to take his money from him so any transfers for Reading are off the agenda atm.

I'm calling troublemaking south coast bullsh*t particularly given the news today about the land at Bearwood but you never know with these Russians.

Well that was rude, therapy not going well? Try to be mature enough not to throw around personal insults on the internet about someone you don't know Royal90what'isface.

Anyway, as I said, don't think it's true but it is a rumour so for those who aren't immature just thought I would share it on the rumours and gossip part of HNA?.

[bite]

Given Boris' many business interests, and the fact that he holds heavy sway with the Russian government and serves as VP of one of their manufacturing boards, the sheer idea that all his money could get 'taken away' is laughable..particularly as most of his assets won't be tangible. Almost as laughable as the idea that we'd let another club know that we're financially vulnerable.

Would be pretty irrelevant anyway given that any money that is planned on being spent in the next 12 months will have come from our PL venture anyway.

Agreed - I think he also part-owns QPR's superstar striker, Remy.

Load of nonsense. In any case, there's a reason the Zingarevich's use suspected money launderers like CS. He'll have his money stored away in various safe locations.
