Norfolk Royal
Alexander Litvinenko McInyre's problem was that he was touted as a centre-forward - which he patently wasn't.

So when he didn't meet expectations as a centre-forward the more excitable got on his back. He was perfectly competent out wide as a supporting striker.

Don't see that really, his performance in the play off final against Walsall was humiliating for him, the club, and the fans.

He was the worst player I have ever seen play for us, and the play-off final performance was possibly his worst game.

Surely the award for useless performance in the playoff final v Walsall goes to Barry Hunter for twatting the ball sideways in a blind panic against Rougier for the equaliser and generally losing the plot thereafter.

McIntyre was alright once he got put out on the left. He was about 6ft though so not small. Seem to remember him heading against the bar in the play-off final, down the far end during the first half.

Which says much more about your ability to spot a good footballer than it does about his ability to play the game.

Grant Brebner had an abundance of talent and could have achieved so much more if it weren't for his gambling habit. He did pretty well over here in Oz at Melbourne Victory and was extremely popular with the fans for his dedication and ability.

I liked Jim McIntyre. Decent player when we played to his strengths. For anyone to say he was the worst player ever when he played in the same side as the likes of Jimmy Crawford, Peter Van Der Kwaak, Elroy Kromheer, Mark Reilly, Sean Evers and Stuart Gray is nothing short of blind stupidity.

...and add Andy Gurney to that list as well

I liked Andy Gurney (except when we scored that free kick against us) and Jimmy Mac. There's been lots of worse dross players than those two who've worn the hoops.

Wolves are in for Church. That'd amuse me.

His level (D1), but I doubt it, them still being managerless.

My memory is that he didn't watch it hit the bar and didn't care when it didn't go in. I was sitting about 20 yards away, watching in horror.
