From today's Daily Mail

Reading and QPR have targeted Leicester winger Lloyd Dyer.

Useful player, wouldn't be upset with this - and if we can nobble QPR further all the better.

Think we're being a bit too confident in what we've got if we're targeting a fifth choice winger as our next priority.

We need more guile through the middle.

Either that or Atkins knows that someone's leaving (HRK?), someone isn't up to the rigours of a full season (Kebe?) or someone is earmarked for an advanced central role in a reshaped midfield. (McAnuff?)

Re. McAnuff worth noting that Atkins tends to play a fluid attacking style and not with 2 wingers as BMc did in the Champ - you saw it in action in the last few home games, with McA, McC and HRK switching around a lot ... seems a very effective way of playing if done well, although could be more susceptible to counter-attacks if the RB or LB does not have sufficient cover ...

The gamne against Arsenal when tabb put ALF through and he went round the keeper. Well in that match McDermott seemed to do the same and we had McAnuff, HRK and Kebe constantly switching positions behind Alfie, we absolutely tore them apart for that period of the game.

Agree - and against Sunderland at home, which worked really well .... but then switched back to the same boring style after that.
