M8 of mine who's a Blades STH tells me that the talk of Sheffield is of Blackman heading back there.

the chronic reckoned we paid 1.5 mill although most other sources at the time said it was undisclosed so not sure whether to believe that or not, if true will we make our money back?.... I doubt it

Blackman going would be no surprise. His contributions have been distinctly mediocre and he doesn't really have a position. We need to shift players and if we can't get rid of the massively paid ones, then the mediocre is the next obvious one.

I know I'm in a minority but I don't think Blackman's been terrible, I'd actually be surprised if he left but that's probably just me.

I don't think that the amount we paid has any bearing on our chances of making it back.
I think it says it all about Blackman when the League One side we signed him on are split on whether they'd have him back.
And we signed him to do a job in the Premier League.
