I see all these players we are linked with, players people speculate we should get or the comments that Clarke will use his contacts to get people in, and I can only think of FFP (whether you feel this is a plot device not to spend money or whether it is an issue). I'm not all that sure I follow it properly, but I thought our losses last financial year are hampering what we can do this, and what we do this affects what restrictions we may get next season. If there was money set aside for Murray (fee and wages), does the sacking (and financial severance packages) of Adkins et al affect that? In a base line it must as it will be an additional operating outgoing that the club is going to have in this financial year. I also presume that wages for loan players will also be held within this bracket as they are an outgoing to the club, so unless the situation is not as inflexible as we are led to believe, or we have changed tack and are willing to bust FFP for next season then the only loanees we could get in, would be those that the lending club will pay a high % of wages on? Have I understood this right? Just seems to me, that hopes for Scott Sinclair and that are going nowhere, irrespective of whether they would like to come unless the lending club pays the wages or we can shift some of the high wage dross off at no loss to ourselves.
