Carson maybe al habsi is getting towards the end of his run as a top rate keeper at 33 unless he is something very special and we don't already no about it. I don't think carson is really much better than what we have either. I don't think any of the three relegated clubs have the answer really there...... id rather audaciously try to get anders lindegaard from united . He is out of favour and he wants first team football...... if he doesn't want to go abroad he may be a master stroke.

He obviously thought he was good enough to get the number 1 jersey and maybe Harry Redknap had plans for him. I imagine the wages were higher at QPR.TBMCoppelled_Streets The club needed to sell and he wanted to go.
But he must have been promised 1st team football there, seems strange his one and only appearance for them was when Green was injured. Why would you (especially being a goalkeeper) join a team to sit on their bench - he would have been better off going to a top end Championship team

Wasn't Green signed after McCarthy?

Well you can't blame him for not seeing that one coming thenPepe the Horseman No, it was close though. They signed Green, then two years later they signed McCarthy.

6 Million Dollar Man Rob Green will leave QPR this summer, so McCarthy should get his chance there next season
