Rumour - John Eustace

According to the FLW website, we're interested in acquiring former Derby midfielder John Eustace, 35.

Lots of Reading fans critising the rumoured interest in him, but beggars can't be choosers. He has a lot of experience and would do for 12 months. Could be very good for the likes of Kuhl and Tish. A yes from me, considering where we appear to be financially (again).

He would be a decent squad player for a season, I doubt he would demand to play every week and would be useful to help along youngsters like Tshibola and Kuhl (both of whom I hope will feature fairly regularly next year).

I wouldn't be devastated if we signed him, and I think he would do a job for us.

FLW is literally just people making up rumours. The only difference between them and shitefootballroumours.org or whatever it's called, is that FLW can just about form coherent sentences.

35 you say? Maybe we're turning the hotel into a retirement home and we're looking for flagship residents.

Scorer of the goal that never was. For that reason, sign him up.

Not sure how it would be Clarke's fault. He appears to be on a very strict budget and will obviously want to mix experience with youth. He's got a hell of a lot to do with not a lot of money.

Maybe the knew Leigertwood? Remember when we signed him, enthusiasm was very muted .... but he wasn't 35 admittedly.

Would prefer we sign Leigertwood again. Probably will be injured less than Eustace. A Derby fan I know felt his regular injuries was a key contributing factor in Derby not winning promotion this season
